You’re too late for V-Day reservations

Yesterday, Calendar Girl Erica Jackson was bemoaning the fact that she couldn’t get reservations for Saturday night.

I checked out Open Table this morning and found three available reservations for two. Since I started writing this, there are only two restaurants with availability.

Not every restaurant in town takes reservations via Open Table, but you can bet it’s indicative of what Saturday night is going to be like.

I, for one, am pretty stoked to see the demand. V-Day is to restaurants what Christmas is to retail stores. Let’s hope this weekend is the start of something good, ’cause January was rough all the way around.
