The word “you’re” is a contraction, or a combination of, the words you and are. The word “your” is the possessive form of you, referring to something that a person has, or something that belongs to the person in discussion [or, the person you are talking to].
I see this all the time, even when people are trying to be mean and intellectually intimidating to other people (which defeats the purpose) and it really brings the bar down. There are others, such as there/they’re/their but for now, say you’re when you mean you are and your when you mean your.
