The folks at North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center recently announced several shows.

Veteran pop vocalist, actress, an activist Olivia Newton-John is solid for a concert at the Performing Arts Center on Sat. March 7. She’s still popular among those who loved th soundtrack to the movie Grease and the music video for the song “Let’s Get Physical.” Tickets available now for $56 & $46 (plus applicable fees) at the Coliseum Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets (including select Publix grocery stores), by phone (843) 554-6060, and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

On Wed. March 11, North Charleston Performing Arts Center hosts Ryan Adams & The Cardinals — singer/guitarist Ryan Adams with backing from Neal Casal (guitar, vocals), Chris Feinstein (bass, vocals), Jon Graboff (pedal steel, vocals) and Brad Pemberton (drums). The band recently released a new album titled Cardinology (the second highest chart debut of Adams’ career) and head out on a UK headlining tour, followed by a North American trek supporting Oasis. Tickets are available (starting Sat. Dec. 20) for $31 plus applicable fees via the box office, Ticketmaster outlets, etc.

International star Yanni (Yiannis Hrysomallis) — the self-taught pianist, composer, and arranger who rose to fame and acclaim in the 1980s and ’90s — is scheduled to perform at the North Charleston Coliseum on April 19 (minus his famously floppy moustache). He recently collaborated with the Oscar/Grammy-winning producer, Ric Wake, as they wrote and produced music for “four extraordinary new vocal artists” under the moniker Yanni Voices. Tickets go on sale soon.
