Fans of the Explorers Club will be happy to hear the band is back together and in the writing/preproduction process for a brand new collection of songs. “We felt like we have some more music to make and want to keep making records we enjoy,” frontman Jason Brewer tells us. “We feel like there aren’t many bands doing the classic pop format that we do, so we decided to carry on.” The new ensemble comprises Charleston, Nashville, and Atlanta musicians Paul Runyon,  Kyle Polk, Wyatt Funderburk, Mike Williamson, James Abercrombie, and, sometimes, Clay White. With hot temperatures on the brink and the Carolina surf calling, some Beach Boys-esque summer sounds are exactly what the doctor ordered.
