If you haven’t already gotten your Spoleto tickets, you can now buy them in person. Located at the Charleston Visitors Center, at 375 Meeting St. the box office will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 2; then from May 3 through June 6, it’ll be open Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday, June 7 (the last day of the festival) hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

You can still, of course, buy tickets online or by phone by calling (843) 579-3100. And if you want to wait for Locals Weekend, that’ll be April 11 and 12 this year — details are to come, but generally the festival offers discounts of up to 50 percent on shows to patrons who come in person to the box office. Festival staff, however, are advising against waiting, as the loss of the Gaillard has made for fewer seats all around this year and shows are selling out ahead of schedule.
