If you’ve ever been to a Creative Mornings Charleston (CMCHS) lecture, then you know that the monthly, free event is pretty kickass. Even if networking with other creatives, listening to a local powerhouse in his/her field speak, and checking out cool venues in town isn’t your thing, the free breakfast and coffee should get you in the door.

This Fri. Oct. 26 from 6-9 p.m., Redux Contemporary Art Center hosts CreativeEvening: a fundraiser for Creative Mornings Charleston. With help from an Office of Cultural Affairs grant, CMCHS presents this fundraising evening, with a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

Guests can enjoy live music from Admiral Radio, Walter Brown, and DJ Sparkbox; a silent auction featuring goods like Gaillard tickets and locally sourced products; food available for purchase from First Name Basis food truck; and beer and wine available for purchase. Raffle tickets for the silent auction are $3/ticket, $5/two tickets, $10/five tickets.

All funds raised during this evening will go to CMCHS so that the team of volunteers can continue to produce totally free talks in town.
