The Blotter is taken from City of Charleston police department reports. We’ve added a cartoon and a little commentary. We’ve added a little humor, too. No one has been found guilty. This is not a court of law.

Blotter Threat O’ The Week: “You didn’t see me do shit. I’ll kick your ass.”

On Dec. 4, West Ashley residents noticed that some apartment buildings under construction had been defaced with graffiti. The tags, sprayed in red and silver paint, included, “Axel,” “Zie,” and a large anarchy symbol. Henry Rollins would be proud.

On Dec. 5, someone used a pry bar to break into a vending machine in a downtown parking garage. All of the sodas were taken, as well as all of the dollar bills inside the machine, which might just be used to buy more coke, if you catch my drift.

Blotter Convincing Statement O’ The Week: “I didn’t do nothing. I ain’t going no fucking where.”
