The Charleston Symphony Orchestra looks and sounds fancy, but it isn’t too proud to take a few hand-outs. On Thursday Sep. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m., Rebekah Jacob Modern on King St. will present a night of art and classical music to raise money for the CSO.
Artists Donna Hurt, Eric Abrecht and Jennifer Shaw will show their work at the Real Estate Studio (214 King). A healthy chunk of all proceeds from sales of their art will go to the CSO, which will be on hand to provide the music.
Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and voluntary donations will be taken for the Orchestra.
