Skoogie’s is like enlightenment. If you ain’t looking for it, you probably aren’t going to find it. Tucked into the back half of the building housing Wholly Cow, Skoogie’s serves up genuine Chicago-style hotdogs — complete with tomatoes, peppers, a sliver of a pickle, celery salt, and a Vienna Beef dog. For those who are intimidated by all that, not only can you get your dog served pretty much however you like, but there’s sandwiches a-plenty here. Batter up.
