The battle for this one was close. There’s just so much out there to be afraid of, that is if you let the local television news get its “me scare you long time” teeth in you. Gangs. Gators. Panhandlers. The homeless. Identity thieves. Sex predators. Al Parish. All worthy competitors. But this was the year of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, a.k.a. MRSA, a particularly nasty bug that seemingly had a grudge against children. Wash your hands people.
