Located in a small shopping plaza off of Rivers Avenue (just north of Northwoods Mall), Wings is a cool little watering hole with loads of character. Much more neighborhood-y than some of the homogenous chains and restaurant joints along the nearby strip, there’s a healthy mix of young shaggy locals, service industry folks, military guys and girls, and smooth operators. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the best bargain is the 35-cent wings (all day). Bartenders Josh Graham and Starr Book are among the friendliest in the county. Weekly entertainment includes full live rock bands, karaoke, open mic, and acoustic acts.
