NOTE: These are confirmed filings only. Candidates have until March 30 to file.

Congressman Henry Brown has filed for reelection. The long-serving Congressman has been called a “Republican” workhorse. He recently made news for all the mail he sends out to constituents (more than any other House member). Paul Norris, also a Republican, will challenge Brown in the primary. The Post and Courier referred to him in a Sunday story as a Charleston businessman.

In other filing news:

Sen. Lindsey Graham has filed for reelection.

• Republican Nancy Harrelson has filed for the Republican nomination to challenge Congressman Jim Clyburn.

• Like Brown, Congressman Joe Wilson will face a primary challenger: Phil Black. He’ll also face a general election challenge. Democrat Blaine Lotz of Hilton Head Island has filed for the seat — potentially pitting the saturated Lexington community against the old, dependable voters on the coast.
