We just got word of a dance party breaking out tonight at Club Pantheon. Matthew Bowers tells me he and friends have been trying to organize a culture clash-type event for the past few weeks and are now seeing something gel. Tonight’s event includes dancers, deejays, local artists, photographers, screen printers, and more. Bowers will be behind the turntable, as well as a few more other groovy folks, too, I’d imagine. Artists will be on hand to print logos-of-your-own-making on t-shirts. The event is called “Blume” and you can find out more at the Blume Group on Facebook. They’d like to make this a regular mobile dance party in venues around the city. I’ll write more as I get more information. Till then . . .
