A report by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that was released yesterday by the Post and Courier notes that it was likely a cigarette that started the Sofa Super Store fire, but it’s still unknown who was the smoking bandit.

As one independent investigator told the city earlier this year, most everyone at the store smoked, but nobody admits to smoking on that day.

And nobody likely will, but my guess is that whoever did it knows that they did it. And, quite likely, there may be other employees who know as well.
