After announcing that it was closing 600 stores, Starbucks had us worried that some of our new coffee-laden pit stops would be shuttered. But, the panic is over. A list released today has spared all of Charleston’s baristas.
Surprisingly, only one Peachtree Street Starbucks will be shuttered in Atlanta. It’s surprising because I counted one about every quarter mile during a recent visit. Also: Charlotte is losing five. Well, there’s another reason for them to move to the coast.
