Google is working on a new feature for its main search page, CNET reports. It’s called Google Suggest and it will automatically make recommendations based on analysis of the most popular searches. The service has been available for some time, but new developments are ongoing. The aim is to help formulate queries, reduce spelling errors, and save user keystrokes. Similar services are available at other search sites, like Yahoo and the recently launched Cuil. —Myles Hutto
