Marie Claire apparently asked John McCain if he most identified with an iconic folk singer, a crazed Hillary Clinton supporter, or Jack Bauer. Regardless of their differing roles in a variety of creative torture scenarios, McCain went with Bauer.
“We have a lot in common because he escapes all the time,” Mr. McCain said.
He’s not alone. Bauer got a few shout-outs at the GOP Primary debates earlier this year.
