The Lowcountry Blues Bash โ€” Charlestonโ€™s annual celebration of authentic blues and roots music โ€” kicks off this Friday evening with a happy hour show at Mad River and packed schedule for the entire weekend. Organizer Gary Erwin (a.k.a. Shrimp City Slim) booked over 45 blues, soul, and roots acts in 19 clubs and restaurants across town. The fest continues through Mon. Feb. 16. Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s on the schedule for Friday:
