Theatre 99
We went to see S.C.-native Aziz Ansari perform stand-up at Theatre 99, because we loved his bit on Flight of the Conchords, where he played a racist fruit vendor. Since then, we’ve been excited to catch him on primetime shows, like Scrubs, playing a smug intern with a propensity for coining catch-phrases (“Steak Niiight!”). We can’t wait to see him star in Parks and Recreation, the upcoming show from The Office folks, starring Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones. Remember us when you’re famous, Aziz!
