Veterinary Emergency Care

930 Pine Hollow Road. Mt. Pleasant

(843) 216-7554

Most caring pet owners share similar emergency experiences — urgent situations where their dogs or cats need immediate medical attention. When Fido takes a tumble or Fluffy suffers a puncture wound (or five) in a scrap with the neighborhood tomcat, a rushed visit to the regular vet usually does the trick. When the office is closed, however, the situation can become frighteningly dangerous. Fortunately for the pet owners near the East Cooper area, Veterinary Emergency Care’s clinic is open after hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The facility, located off the Johnnie Dodds Boulevard frontage road, features two operating rooms, a procedure room, an exam room, and a large ICU area. Staffed by veterinarians and assistants from around the Charleston area, Veterinary Emergency Care’s professional team counsels patrons, demonstrates compassion and patience, and thoroughly explains and guides patrons through each step, no matter how dire or scary things may be.
