El Diablo
Don’t laugh, but Ultimate is a serious sport. Seriously. It combines a bit of soccer, a bit of hockey, and a bit of Tron. And perhaps nobody will testify to the seriousness of Ultimate like the guys in local squad El Diablo. They were one of 16 teams that competed last year in the 2008 Ultimate Players Association Championship. They didn’t win the whole thing; heck, they didn’t even win a game. But they went. And they frikkin represented. Down with the Devil, but up with El Diablo.
