OK. So we haven’t actually been on the Thriller tour, but we have been out on a boat in the harbor with the Thriller, a 55-foot 43-passenger bright yellow catamaran, and we’ve seen the huge smiles on the faces of its passengers. And, really, what’s not to like? You get a 1,000-watt stereo system, a cool breeze off the water, fast speeds, and 25 miles of shoreline in a mere 60 minutes. Plus, you get history, with an up-close look at the Morris Island Lighthouse and some stories from Captain Mark Fox. We bet it beats the hell out of blocking traffic in 95-degree heat while sitting behind the smelly rump of a carriage horse. Tours start up again this week, and you can bet we’ll be taking the family out soon.
