120f/1239393440-lowry2009.jpg Maybe it’s a mini-vacation: Manhattan-based alt-rock/indie-pop quintet Lowry visits the Charleston area for a three-night stint in support of a new album titled Love Is Dead (Engine Room) — a collection “ripe with proclamations, condemnations and finally affirmations.”

Lead singer Alex Lowry and his bunch will be at the Oasis Bar & Grill (788 Folly Road) on Thurs. April 16, at the Tin Roof (1117 Magnolia Road) on Fri. April 17, then back at the Oasis on Sun. April 19.
