On the tea party coverage, no example of liberal elitist media bias was more flagrant than that of MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow.

After quickly tiring of both hosts’ relentless, sexual double entendre puns about “tea bagging,” I watched in amazement – and then anger – as they and their guests implied that anyone who dared to question reckless government spending was mentally deficient or worse. Said actress-turned-politico Janeane Garofalo on Olbermann’s Countdown: “let’s be very honest about what this is about. It’s not about bashing Democrats, it’s not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston tea party was about, they don’t know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. And there is no way around that.”
