On Thursday, a Senate education subcommittee will consider Sen. Robert Ford’s proposal for private school tax credits. Critics say it will take money from public schools.
Meanwhile, a House subcommittee will take up Rep. Bill Herbkersman’s proposal for beer samples at microbrews. The proposal has had trouble overcoming the distributor lobby in past attempts.
