Since 2002, Kennedy’s Bakery and Market has been serving up a range of quality fare and wines to the Charleston community. However, visitors who stop by their former storefront at 60 Calhoun St. now find a completely vacant building after the market closed recently. A former employee of the shop noted a string of financial burdens that lead the business to close. We’re just sorry to see another local company go and hope owner Kevin Jordan lands on his feet elsewhere.
