O’Malley’s Bar and Grille downtown has put together a weeklong charity event to benefit local businesses downtown and also local charity, Lowcountry Aids Foundation. Helmed, ‘7 Stores, 7 Days’, starting August 22nd they will encourage masses of people to shop at seven different businesses for one week, a different store each day. Each business has agreed to pledge a certain percentage of sales for that day to Lowcountry Aids Foundation. August 29th, O’ Malley’s will host a ‘Block Party’ in their backyard where each patron will present a check to the charity. There will be live music by a local band, games, food provided by Birney’s Foods andan after party inside with DJ Natty Heavy of 93 Jamz.

The block party will be on August 29th and will run from 2pm to 2am.
