The much-loved, Tony award-winning RENT is coming to Charleston for a special fundraising run. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Dec. 1 (World AIDS Day) for the White Tuxedo Productions show. To hype ticket sales, the cast will be on hand at a press conference on Tuesday at the Roper St. Francis Hospital in West Ashley. RENTheads are encouraged to stop by and see the cast perform “Seasons of Love.”

The musical, starring a cast of New York-based performers, will run Jan. 21-Feb. 14 at the Charleston Music Hall and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Roper St. Francis Ryan White Foundation and the Alliance for Full Acceptance. The musical, based on La Boheme, chronicles life with AIDS in the East Village of New York City in the ’90s.

Tickets for the performance are available at etix.com.
