The snow is gone and the roads look slightly better off than we would have expected (here in North Charleston). That said, the National Weather Service is encouraging residents to stay off the roads.

"Temperatures dropping into the upper 20s around daybreak may cause a layer of ice to develop," according to a special weather notice. Temperatures are expected to warm to above freezing by 9-10 a.m.
