Charleston-based songwriter and frontman Jeff Riddle — the longtime lead singer and guitarist of boozy/snarly punk four-piece Steve Hit Mike — issued an unexpectedly mellow solo album this month to correspond with his winter/spring cross-country road trip.
Recorded with assistance from local engineer Jeff Leonard, Riddle’s 16-song 16 Reasons to Kill Jeff Riddle (Anarchy Pancakes) catches him in a reflective-but-smart-mouthed mood.
