Queen Street Grocery will be a designated pick-up spot for Thackeray Farms’ Community Supported Agriculture program beginning April 15.

The cost is $400 for a full share of produce each week for 12 weeks (if that sounds overwhelming, each container feeds three to five people).

The contents of the boxes, bags, or baskets will vary each week, from Asian greens to zucchini, depending on what’s in season. Thackeray Farms will be partnering with Blackbird Farms of Flat Rock, N.C. to make sure you get a good variety of fresh fruits and veggies.

No matter what you might end up with, it is all grown using organic methods and comes fresh from the farm.

You can pick up your basket at Queen Street Grocery at 133 Queen St., or have it delivered to peninsular addresses for an extra $10. Visit qsg29401.com for more information and to sign up.
