On the opening night of One Man Star Wars, performer Charlie Ross confirmed that he will present a one-off One Man Lord of the Rings at Theatre 99 next Friday, June 11 at 3 p.m. Ross hopes to bring the Rings to Charleston in the future, making next week’s gig a "sneak peek" of his current version of the show, which comically condenses all three movies into a one hour stage production.

Lord of the Rings is obviously close to Charlie’s heart — when asked who his favorite character was in the middle of his Star Wars show, he replied "Gollum" and gave the audience a quick impression.

Ross has taken both plays on highly successful tours, fueled by his passion for the source material. For more information, contact Theatre 99 at (843) 853-6687.
