Congressman Gresham Barrett, the longshot in the GOP gubernatorial primary, will be in Charleston for two stops. On a “Barrett Building Momentum” tour. He’s going to need that momentum with state Rep. Nikki Haley’s strong showing in the primary June 8, nearly winning the majority of votes needed to avoid a runoff. The two will go head-to-head on June 22.
Barrett’s Lowcountry events tomorrow include a press conference at 9:30 a.m. at Patriots Point and a Republican Women luncheon.
