Lindsay Holler

Charleston songstress Lindsay Holler is on the road this week, performing with various bandmates in New York City. She and her local troupe, the Western Polaroids, return in time to play at the Tin Roof on Fri. Oct. 15 with support from Maryland band Cotton Jones.

The big-big news on the Holler horizon is the fifth annual Holy City Cold Heart Revival — a joyous roots-music jamboree which will take place on Sat. Nov. 27 at the Pour House. Each year, the Revival showcases a variety of performances from locals and visitors handling alt-country, folk, pop, and country styles.

“I can’t believe this is the fifth annual show,” says Holler. “We shimmied the date around a little bit, and we’re bringing an amazing musical respite from your Thanksgiving cheer.”

This year’s lineup features Holler’s band along with Josh Roberts and the Hinges, the New Familiars, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, Kentucky Shoes, the Royal Tinfoil, and Megan Jean and the KFB Band.
