Local rock band Company (previously known as CO.) finally received official copies of their new self-titled mini album last week. The packaging features some freaked-out psychedelic images from local artist Andrew Dyck.
The six-song collection hits the street on Tues. Oct. 26 by way of independent labels Fat Possum and Brown Records. Comprised of singer/guitarist Brian Hannon, drummer Kelly Grant, bassist Matthew Royse, and guitarist T.J. Ave-Lallemant, Company recorded the new tunes earlier this year with Evan Bradford and Jon Ashley at the popular Echo Mountain Recordings in Asheville, N.C. — the facility where Band of Horses tracked their most recent albums.
There’s no CD release club show on the schedule at the moment. Copies of the disc will be available at Monster Music & Movies and online through fatpossum.com and brownrecords.com.
