The Carolina-based organization Music With Friends recently announced two exclusive concerts at the Dock Street Theatre. Legendary funk/soul ensemble Earth, Wind & Fire are slated to perform on Wed. Sept. 21, and blues/roots singer/guitarist Bonnie Raitt is on for Thurs. Nov. 3.

A members-only club that provides performances for select audiences in Charleston and Charlotte, Music With Friends hosts three events throughout the year in both locations. They brought Motown great Diana Ross into town for a show at the Dock Street last spring.

“From the beginning, it has been our goal to offer members unique music experiences by blending outstanding talent with an intimate setting, shared by people who enjoy listening to great music with friends from their community,” says Becky Mitchener, director of development.
