Mt. Pleasant-based marketing firm Trio Solutions has extended the deadline for their annual CreateAthon to July 29. Nonprofits can enter to win 24 hours of pro bono marketing services. Five nonprofits will be chosen for the CreateAthon, which will take place Sept. 16. The selected nonprofits should have little to no budget for marketing.
Since the first CreateAthon in 1997, which was created by RIGGS Advertising Agency in Columbia, the effort has helped more than 1,100 nonprofits in various cities. “We love being able to use our time and talents to give back to the community, and want to be sure that all local organizations know about the opportunity,” says Trio’s Jennifer Cherock.
