The employees of local company Musicorp — a distributor and manufacturer of musical instruments, lighting products, and accessories — conducted a successful office fundraiser that allowed them to make a donation to Project Cool Breeze, a local organization that provides fans and air conditioning units to disadvantaged seniors that began in 1999.

In recent months, Musicorp employees had the opportunity to pay $1 to wear shorts and $1 to wear flip-flops to work to help combat the summer heat. They raised $150. The proceeds were donated directly to Project Cool Breeze. Dan Roberts, Musicorp VP, remarked, “Musicorp employees have always shown compassion for those in need, and we are happy to find a way to provide a bit of relief for those suffering in these record temperatures.”
