Galen Hudson at Monster Music and Movies

Monster Music and Movies proprietor Galen Hudson, a self-proclaimed record nerd, has organized another big vinyl-centric jamboree at a neighboring space next to World Market in the West Ashley Shoppes.

Hudson and Monster presented the Charleston Record Expo as a massive vinyl showcase and sale last March. Regional collectors, sellers, and buyers got together and shared a ton of vinyl and other miscellaneous musical devices. On Sat. Sept. 24, vendors will be on hand at the Charleston Record Expo II from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

โ€œWe hope this will be at least a twice yearly event,โ€ says Hudson. Vendors from all over the Eastern U.S. will be selling LPs and 45s from all musical genres. A variety of CDs, DVDs, music memorabilia, imports, rarities, and collectables will be available, too. Prices range from expensive to dirt-cheap.

The Expo is free and open to the public. Hello My Name is BBQ will be on site as well. Visit monstermusicsc.com for more info.
