Local quartet Sarah Cole and the Hawkes have launched a new website with extra photos, video clips, and calendar updates.
Singer/guitarist Cole and her bandmates — drummer Jim Donnelly, guitarist/singer Jesse Prichard, and bassist John Kennedy — also have worked up a full album’s worth of tracks at Donnelly’s Island Sounds studio on Johns Island. The band plans to independently release its debut later this year.
This week, they’ll handle a busy schedule, playing electric blues, soul, swing, and classic rock at the Drop In on Folly on Mon. Nov. 21, at the Pour House on the main stage on Tues. Nov. 22, at Art’s Bar in Mt. Pleasant Wed. Nov. 23, at Loggerheads on Folly on Thurs. Nov. 24, and at the Kickin’ Chicken on James Island on Fri. Nov. 25.
