Freshfields Village (149 Village Green Lane) kicks off their annual Music on the Green summer music series today (June 1) with a performance by soul/rock group Groove Train. The family-friendly concerts continue through June every Friday evening from 6-9 p.m.
Located at the entrance to Kiawah and Seabrook islands, Freshfields boasts a sizeable green space that’s ideal for such events. Music on the Green continues on Fri. June 8 with Congdon & Company, an ensemble handling jazzy rock, beach, disco, R&B, and vintage Top 40.
