A handful of literary heavyweights are making a stop in Charleston Sept. 21 as part of the Unchained Tour. Founded by Savannah resident George Dawes Green, who also created the Moth storytelling series, the tour takes raconteurs, a.k.a. storytellers, along with musicians, writers, and other artists, to towns across the South (sorry, no Jack White).

At the Charleston Music Hall, we’ll see award-winning author Neil Gaiman (Coraline, Stardust), Moth host and musician Peter Aguero, and actor/poet/performance artist/playwright Edgar Oliver (a performer at last spring’s Spoleto Festival). Local musicians Rachel Kate and Joel T. Hamilton will also be performing.

Tickets are $20. Find out more at theunchainedtour.org.
