First there was an online rib competition that Fiery Ron’s Home Team won handily, beating out The Rendevous, Dreamland, Southern Soul BBQ, Pappy’s Smokehouse, Salt Lick BBQ, Johnson’s Boucaniere, 12 Bones Smokehouse, and Goode’s BBQ for the title of “Most Life Changing Ribs in America.” Kudos to them.
In related news, the Macintosh and Carter’s Kitchen in Mt. Pleasant both received designation as Best New Restaurant by critic John Mariani in his annual roundup.
