Angie Bellinger, the owner and cook at Workmen’s Cafe, has been wanting to take her business to the next level and recently teamed up with Giovanni Richardson at Backman’s Seafood to plan and organize a series of monthly events aimed at introducing people to her tasty food.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, she’ll be hosting a tasting of some of her best dishes including fried chicken, meatloaf, and pork chops. Save room for the lima beans and rice. A meaty stew of awesome. Miss Angie makes everything from scratch and stirs in a lot of love.

Stop by between noon and 5 p.m. and get you some.
