Remember Osteria La Bottiglia on King Street; the quaint Italian restaurant tucked between Blue Bicycle Books and Modern Trousseau? Well, they’ve just gotten a makeover that’s going to take their simple home style restaurant to a new level.

The restaurant will be functioning under a new name, Massi’s Wine Bar and Osteria, named after the native Italian owner, Massimiliano Sarrocchi.

With a new wine bar mentality, the establishment has added several wines by the glass and bottle to their list.

In addition to new wines, they menu is being revamped by Chef Michael Perez, formerly of Trattoria Lucca. An experienced pasta maker, Perez plans to focus on fresh ingredients for the new menu, which will vary by season.
