If you haven’t been to Stars Restaurant Rooftop & Grill yet, you need to get on down to King Street and get yourself acquainted.
Besides the obvious lure of a rooftop in downtown Charleston, Stars has a unique collection of artisan wines — on tap. The “Vintap System” offers a convenient and efficient way of serving wines by the glass. With 16 wines on tap, they each benefit from a controlled temperature environment.
The popularity of wine on tap has spurned the creation of Tap Wine Tuesday’s at Stars. The deal will feature half-priced wines by the glass from 4-7 p.m., as well as deals on food like $3 mini burgers, BLT’s, bacon tater tots, and Bulls Bay oysters from 5-7 p.m.
The special will be offered at the downstairs walnut bar and cocktail area where you’ll have the choice of wines from full-bodied reds for these last few chilly winter nights, to crisp tart whites to bring us into spring.
