Charleston doesn’t always have the best luck when it comes to hip-hop shows — remember that whole Big Boi/Busta Rhymes fiasco in 2011? — but we still manage to attract some good names. We were stoked to hear that Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J would be returning to town for a Tues. May 7 show at the Music Farm, and we’re extra excited now that we know who’s opening for him: A$AP Ferg. (Speaking of Big Boi, he’s giving the Holy City another shot, thanks to a Sat. June 8 show at the Music Farm.) Part of the A$AP Mob collective that spawned current rap golden child A$AP Rocky, Ferg is building his own buzz, having recently been named an artist to watch by Rolling Stone.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and it’s an age 16-plus show. Tickets are $22 in advance, $25 at the door, $45 for VIP, or, if you’d like to hang with Juicy J and A$AP Ferg, $75 for a meet and greet. Check out musicfarm.com.
