Rush3, the one-man design team behind the one-handled bottle opener the Kebo, is now a one-man-one-lady team. The firm recently announced that Judy Dixon would be joining her husband Rush Dixon, founder of Rush3, to manage Rush3’s daily operations.
Rush is an architect by training, and founded Rush3 in 2010 with the spare time he had as a result of the recession. Now that they’ve got two more products on the market, Kebo Light and Chomp Stix (animal-shaped chopsticks for kids), the extra man — or in this case, woman — power became essential. “We started to realize what a strong team the two of us could be — Rush inventing products and designing buildings and me running the Rush3 daily operations,” Judy says.
