[image-1]Trying to decide on whether to upgrade to VIP for the Mt. Pleasant Beerfest this Saturday at the Mellow Mushroom on Hwy. 17?

Here are a few clues that you need a VIP pass: you’ve worn a pretzel necklace, your cupboards are full of beer tasting glasses, they know your name and what you like at Charleston Beer Exchange.

Upgrading will double your ticket price but get you reserved parking, free food, access to the VIP lounge (which we hope means a comfy couch so you can really get loungey), and — most importantly — tastes of rare craft beers.

Too broke to splurge? A regular ticket will get you unlimited tastes of more than 60 craft beers from breweries like Frothy Beard, Dogfish Head, Duck Rabbit, Unibroue, Stone, Railhouse, and a bunch more. Plus, they’ll have live music. The fest begins at 12:30 p.m. and runs until 5:30. Buy tickets at mt.pleasantbeerfest.eventbrite.com. And leave the kids at home. This is for legal drinkers only.
