Dare we say it? Butcher & Bee has been a hive of activity lately. On the heels of the recent announcement that Randi Weinstein, former director of events for Charleston Wine + Food Festival has joined the restaurant to handle events, the Bee also shared this morning that they’re opening another location, The Workshop. A cafe and bakery, the Workshop (@theworkshopchs) will open in the Half Mile North development next year at 1085 Morrison Drive.

In addition, B&B owner Micheal Shemtov also gave the press a few more details on his upcoming coffee shop The Daily (652 King St.), which will feature Stumptown Coffee Roasters, as well as to-go items, beer, wine, and fresh juices. And unlike its sister spot, The Daily will be a fast operation, a modern bodega Shemtov says, providing patrons with quick-turnaround bites. The Daily is expected to be open no later than September.
